This 12 months’s forty eighth problem of Shogakukan‘s Weekly Shonen Sunday journal debuted a brand new manga titled Shibuya Close to Household by creator Kōji Kumeta on Wednesday. The journal revealed a brief, uncredited prologue chapter for the manga within the earlier problem on October 20.

Kumeta’s most up-to-date manga is Kakushigoto: My Dad’s Secret Ambition. Kumeta (Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei, Joshiraku) revealed a four-page introduction to the manga in Kodansha‘s Month-to-month Shonen Journal in November 2015, after which revealed the primary full chapter in the identical journal in December 2015. The manga resulted in July 2020 and has 12 compiled volumes. Kodansha Comics is releasing the manga digitally in English.

The manga’s tv anime adaptation premiered in April 2020, and aired for 12 episodes. Funimation streamed the anime because it aired in Japan. Kakushigoto Theatrical Version, the theatrical compilation movie for the anime, opened in Japan on July 9. Funimation streamed the movie.

Kumeta and artist Yasu ended their Joshiraku manga in September 2013. Kumeta ended his Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei manga in Could 2012. Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei impressed three TV anime collection and several other OVAs, and Joshiraku additionally impressed a TV anime collection.
