Crunchyroll started streaming the tv anime of Shinogi Kazanami‘s gentle novel collection The New Gate in India on Friday.

The anime debuted on Saturday at 25:30 (successfully April 14 at 1:30 a.m.) on Tokyo MX and BS11.

Tamaki Nakatsu (Eyeshield 21: The Phantom Golden Bowl movie) is directing the anime at Yokohama Animation Lab and Cloud Hearts. Hiroki Uchida (Avid gamers!, The Strongest Sage With the Weakest Crest) is in control of the collection scripts, and Itsuki Takemoto (animation director for Kan Colle, Naruto Shippūden) is designing the characters. Tatsuhiko Saiki, Yūya Mori, Misaki Tsuchida, and Tsugumi Tanaka are composing the music. Sou is performing the opening theme music “Sekai wo Inuite” (Pierce By The World) and Mika Okasaki is performing the anime’s ending theme music “Kanataboshi.”
