The Mukaishima Metropolitan Police Division charged a girl on Tuesday for breaking copyright legislation by promoting unauthorized desserts primarily based on the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba franchise. The girl had bought desserts for 13,000 to fifteen,000 yen (about US$113.97 to US$131.50) every on Instagram. She had made about 6.5 million yen (about US$56,982) since July 2019.

The girl admitted to the cost, saying that she believed the desserts would promote effectively with fashionable anime characters, and that she knew this was a criminal offense.
