On Monday October 11, Studio Canal will launch the 20th anniversary version of Hayao Miyazaki‘s 2001 movie Spirited Away, as an Amazon unique. It would embody the movie on each Blu-ray and DVD.

This re-creation shall be packed in an outsized field (pictured). The boxset features a hardback The Artwork of Spirited Away e-book: the unique Japanese poster; outsized artwork playing cards; a shower token bookmark, a bathhouse pouch bag and a card holder pockets.

Within the story, a younger woman, Chihiro, and her mother and father stumble into what seems to be an deserted theme park. However all will not be because it appears, because the theme park is a bath-house for the spirits, and never a spot the place people are welcome. Chihiro should fend for herself and rescue her mother and father, as they’ve been turned to pigs as punishment for consuming the meals meant for the gods.

The movie gained the Greatest Animated Function Oscar in 2003 and was joint winner of the Golden Bear award on the 2002 Berlin Movie Competition.

Funimation will launch Tenchi Muyo! Battle on Geminar on Blu-ray. The anime is about in an alternate world known as Geminar, the place international locations have fought countless wars with replicas of humanoid Seikishi weapons that they present in historical ruins. 15-year-old Kenshi Masaki, the half-brother of Tenchi Muyo! protagonist Tenchi Masaki, is summoned from Earth to Geminar. The 13-episode authentic video anime collection was initially launched in 2009-2010.
