Shaman King: The Tremendous Star Manga Goes on Hiatus

Manga creator Hiroyuki Takei places manga on hiatus as a result of being busy with different work

The October situation of Kodansha‘s Shonen Journal Edge revealed on Friday that Shaman King: The Tremendous Star, Hiroyuki Takei‘s new arc for his Shaman King manga, will go on hiatus as a result of Takei at the moment being busy and occupied by different work. The journal will announce the manga’s resumption at a later date.

Takei launched the manga in Shonen Journal Edge in Could 2018, after publishing three prologue chapters. Kodansha revealed the manga’s fifth compiled e book quantity on February 17.

Viz Media beforehand revealed the unique Shaman King manga in English, and Kodansha Comics then launched the manga in October 2020 digitally. Kodansha Comics can be publishing Shaman King: The Tremendous Star in English digitally, and it describes the collection:

Kodansha Comics launched the fifth quantity on July 6.

Shaman King debuted in Shueisha‘s Weekly Shonen Bounce journal in 1998. The collection abruptly resulted in 2004, though a reprinting of the manga revealed a “true ending” in 2009. Takei drew a collection of brief tales titled Shaman King 0 in Shueisha‘s Bounce X journal beginning in November 2011, and revealed a sequel collection titled Shaman King Flowers in the identical journal from 2012 to 2014.

A brand new new tv anime adaptation of the unique manga premiered on April 1 and is ongoing. Netflix started streaming the anime worldwide on August 9. The anime could have 52 episodes.
