One Piece Anime Returns to Toonami
The official Fb web page for Grownup Swim‘s Toonami programming block introduced on Wednesday that the One Piece anime will return to the block on Saturday at 1:30 a.m. EST (successfully, Sunday). Toonami will air episodes 517-518 in a one-hour timeslot this weekend.
The complete lineup for January 22 consists of:
12:00AM – Blade Runner: Black Lotus
12:30AM – Assassination Classroom
1:00AM – Made in Abyss
1:30AM – One Piece
2:00AM – One Piece
2:30AM – Naruto Shippūden
3:00AM – Naruto Shippūden
3:30AM – Cowboy Bebop
Grownup Swim‘s Toonami block started airing One Piece in Might 2013 beginning with episode 207. The premiere garnered 995,000 viewers. The anime left the block in March 2017 with episode 384.
One Piece debuted on Cartoon Community‘s unique Toonami block in 2005.
The continued anime adaptation premiered in 1999. The 1,000th episode debuted on November 14.
Eiichiro Oda started serializing the One Piece manga in Shueisha‘s Weekly Shonen Soar manga on July 19, 1997.
Toonami introduced earlier this month that the programming block will premiere a brand new present each week “for the following month or so,” and can reveal extra particulars about these new reveals at a later time.
