New art work for Crunchyroll’s upcoming reboot of the basic anime collection Trigun has confirmed an arrival set for 2023.

Yasuhiro Nightow’s unique science fiction/western manga collection was serialized in Tokuma Shoten’s Month-to-month Shōnen Captain from April 1995 to January 1997 and the sequel Trigun Most was printed in Shōnen Gahosha’s Younger King OURs from October 1997 till March 2007. The story follows Vash the Stampede, an notorious gunman. Whereas the rumors paint him as a bloodthirsty villain with out mercy, Vash is revealed to be a goofball (albeit with a darkish previous) who endeavors to keep away from killing his enemies.

It seems that a largely new artistic group and forged will convey the reboot to life. Orange, the studio behind Godzilla Singular Level and BEASTARS, is producing Trigun Stampede with Kenji Mutou (Hajime no Ippo Rising) serving as director and Kouji Tajima (the live-action Assault on Titan film) designing the characters. Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Meals Wars! Shokugeki no Soma) is taking part in the grownup model of Vash the Stampede, whereas Tomoyo Kurosawa (Dragon Pilot: Hisone and Masotan) is voicing Younger Vash.
