NES, SNES Creator Masayuki Uemura Passes Away At 78
Uemura held a place at Ritsumeikan College till his demise.
Ritsumeikan Heart for Sport Research (RCGS) introduced on Thursday that Masayuki Uemura, the creator of Nintendo and Tremendous Nintendo, handed away on Dec 6, 2021, on the age of 78. Uemura’s explanation for demise was not disclosed.
His household held a funeral.
Uemura was born on June 20, 1943, in Tokyo. He graduated from Chiba Institute of Expertise’s division of digital engineering in 1967.
A former worker of Sharp Company, Uemura joined Nintendo in 1971 working with Gunpei Yokoi and Genyo Takeda on photo voltaic cell expertise for the Laser Clay Taking pictures System arcade recreation.
After changing into Basic Supervisor of Nintendo R&D2, Uemura served because the lead architect for the Nintendo Leisure System and Tremendous NES recreation consoles.
