Muse Malaysia revealed final Friday that it has licensed the tv anime of HIRO’s Akebi’s Sailor Uniform (Akebi-chan no Sailor Fuku) manga. The corporate will announce distribution particulars for the anime at a later date.

The anime will premiere in Japan on January 8 on Tokyo MX, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, BS11, and MBS, and can premiere on January 9 on BS Asahi. There can be preview screenings on December 25 in Tokyo and December 26 in Osaka.

Miyuki Kuroki (Her Blue Sky, The [email protected] SideM) is directing the anime at studio CloverWorks. Rino Yamazaki (manufacturing development for Medaka Field, screenplay for DARLING within the FRANXX) is each writing and overseeing the collection scripts, and Megumi Kouno (animation director for DARLING within the FRANXX, Destiny/Grand Order Absolute Demonic Entrance: Babylonia) is designing the characters. Kana Utatane is composing the music.

The 16 solid members of Komichi Akebi’s Class 1-3 carry out the opening theme music “Hajimari no Setsuna” (The First Second). Katsuhiko Sugiyama wrote, scored, and organized the music after doing the identical for Nogizaka46 and different musical artists.
