The October subject of Sq. Enix‘s Month-to-month Huge Gangan journal revealed on Saturday that Sq. Enix will launch two new manga within the Higurashi franchise in November. The manga will inform two totally different arcs in an all-new story titled Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei. The kanji used for “Rei” is the kanji utilized in Japan’s present Reiwa period, and is totally different from the kanji used within the When They Cry – Rei OAV collection.

The taglines for each works reads, “Oyashiro-sama’s wrath, as soon as extra within the age of Reiwa!!?”

The primary manga will inform the “Oni Okoshi-hen” (Construct a Demon Arc, pictured left), and that manga will launch on the Gangan On-line web site on November 25. The manga will heart on characters Keitarō Maebara (left) and Kihiro (second from left). Kei Natsumi — who drew the primary, third, and eighth arcs of the Umineko When They Cry manga — is drawing the manga. Ryukishi07 is credited with the unique work.

The second manga will inform the “Hoshi Watashi-hen” (Ship a Star Arc, pictured proper), and the manga will launch in Month-to-month Huge Gangan in its December subject on November 25. The manga will heart on characters Inori Mikazuki (second from proper) and Kururu Isshiki (proper). Seigo Tokiya (Magical Woman Particular Ops Asuka artist) is drawing the manga. Ryukishi07 is credited with the unique work.

Manga creator Tomato Akase will launch a brand new manga titled Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Jun (Higurashi: When They Cry – Jun) in October on Kadokawa‘s Younger Ace Up service. The manga shall be a brand new reply arc for the Higurashi: When They Cry – GOU collection. The Higurashi: When They Cry – GOU anime premiered in October 2020, and the twenty fourth and last episode aired on March 18. Higurashi: When They Cry – SOTSU, the followup to the anime, premiered on July 1.
