Funimation introduced on Friday that it’ll start streaming an English dub for the tv anime of Shiro Manta‘s My Senpai Is Annoying (Senpai ga Uzai Kōhai no Hanashi) manga on Saturday.

The English forged consists of:

• Patrick Seitz as Takeda
• Kenny James as Chief
• Luis Bermudez as Hijikata
• Mark Allen Jr. as Kazama
• Austin Sisk as Ooishi
• Jennifer AuBuchon as Sakurai
• Madeleine Morris as Tsukishiro

Jerry Jewell is directing the English dub. Domonique French is the ADR engineer, and Nathanael Harrison is the combination engineer. Jessica Cavanagh is writing the English script, and Emily Neves is supervising. Benjamin Tehrani is dealing with ADR prep.

The anime premiered on the Tokyo MX and BS11 channels (and on the Abema streaming service) on October 9. Funimation is streaming the collection because it airs in Japan.

Ryota Itoh (episode director for Sing “Yesterday” for Me, Ping Pong, Aikatsu Stars!) is directing the anime at Doga Kobo (Sing “Yesterday” for Me, Diary of Our Days on the Breakwater). Yoshimi Narita (Beet the Vandel Buster, I★CHU: Midway By means of The Idol) is overseeing the collection scripts, Shigemitsu Abe (Killing Bites) is the character designer, Takeshi Takadera (Yowamushi Pedal, RIN-NE) is the sound director, and Hiroaki Tsutsumi (Dr. Stone, Youngsters of the Whales) is composing the music.

Seven Seas is publishing the full-color manga in English, and it describes the story:

Igarashi is a hardworking younger workplace girl. Takeda, the senpai above her at work, annoys her constantly–and but she finds herself rising nearer to him. Daily is stuffed with comedian mishaps and romantic moments as Igarashi tries to steadiness work, life, and love. This full-color manga–which began its life as a webcomic–is certain to attraction audiences of office comedies like Aggretsuko and The Workplace!

Manta launched the manga in 2017, and the manga serializes on the pixiv Comedian web site beneath the comedian Pool internet journal banner. The collection received the net manga division of the Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Awards in 2018. Ichijinsha printed the manga’s eighth compiled ebook quantity on September 28. The collection has 1 million copies in circulation.
