Manga creator Fujihiko Hosono launched a brand new manga titled Koi to Gebaruto (Love and Political Violence) in Kodansha‘s Comedian Days manga web site and app on September 19.

The manga’s story begins in April 1968, within the midst of Japan’s college scholar protest motion. Hiroshi Tōgi leaves his hometown of Sendai to go to school in Tokyo with goal. What awaits him is faculty life rife with chaos and division: between left and proper wing, between the scholar authorities and college organizations, and extra. Taken beneath his senior upperclassman Kuroki’s wing, Hiroshi joins a scholar protest motion, and stumbles onto a destined encounter.

Hosono lately launched the 1978-nen no Manga Mushi (The Manga Bugs of 1978) collection in Shogakukan‘s Large Comedian Zōkan journal on April 12.
