Interact Kiss, also referred to as Challenge Interact, is an ongoing authentic anime venture from studio A-1 Footage. The sequence follows Shu, a younger man who operates a small demon searching enterprise along with his mysterious companion, Kisara. Interact Kiss has managed to captivate audiences with its detailed character designs and beautiful animation high quality, regardless of the sequence being criticized for its generally lackluster writing.
In simply three episodes, Interact Kiss has manged to elicit callbacks to cult-classic 2010 anime sequence like Future Diary and fellow A-1 Footage authentic, Darling within the Franxx. A staple throughout this period that has since misplaced traction is classifying characters by their “dere” varieties. The time period “dere” comes from the onomatopoeia “deredere” which interprets to “love struck” or “lovey dovey”. Kisara, the lead feminine character in Interact Kiss has apparent ties to the notorious yandere label — a right away callback to characters like Yuno Gasai from Future Diary.
Whereas Kisara appears tolerant that Shu would not actually love her, it is apparent that his lingering emotions for Ayano have begun to weigh closely on her as she relives his recollections every time she consumes one. She even goes so far as apologizing to Ayano, though, she spares the main points of her apology. One of these narrative is extremely harking back to Future Diary‘s Yuno Gasai, who traveled between timelines as a god, effectively conscious of Yuki’s inevitable demise in her authentic timeline so as to relive the occasions time and time once more, no matter how a lot struggling she triggered within the course of. Selfishness for the sake of feeding into their obsessions with their respective love pursuits.
