Makino‘s manga launched in 2014

Manga creator Makino revealed on their Twitter account on Saturday that the November challenge of Kodansha‘s Bessatsu Buddy journal will publish the second and closing half of the ultimate chapter of their Defying Kurosaki-kun (Kurosaki-kun no Iinari ni Nante Naranai) manga on October 13. The second half of the ultimate chapter may have 53 pages.

The primary a part of the ultimate chapter began the climax of the manga on August 12.

Makino revealed on February 4 that the manga would proceed previous the 18th quantity, regardless of the manga’s seventeenth quantity beforehand revealing in October 2020 that the manga would finish with the 18th quantity. Makino defined that this was as a result of manga’s present story being longer than that they had anticipated.

Kodansha Comics is publishing the manga digitally in English, and it describes the story:

Makino launched the manga in Kodansha‘s Bessatsu Buddy journal in 2014. The 18th compiled e-book quantity shipped on March 12. Kodansha Comics will publish the seventeenth quantity digitally in English on October 19. The manga impressed a live-action movie in 2016.

The manga was nominated for Finest Shōjo Manga at Kodansha‘s forty fifth annual Manga Awards.
