The official web site for Eiga Sumikko Gurashi: Aoi Tsukiyo no Mahō no Ko (The Magical Baby of the Blue Moonlit Night time), the second movie in San-X‘s Sumikko Gurashi franchise, started streaming a brand new trailer for the movie on Wednesday. The trailer reveals and previews the movie’s theme music “Small world” by the band BUMP OF CHICKEN.

The movie will open in Japan on November 5.

Takahiro Ōmori (Durarara!!, Natsume’s E book of Buddies, Princess Jellyfish) is directing the movie. Reiko Yoshida (Violet Evergarden, Lu over the wall, Ok-ON!) is penning the script, and Kaori Hino (Modest Heroes, Napping Princess) is getting back from the primary movie because the artwork director. Fanworks is returning to animate the movie, and ASMIK Ace is distributing.

Within the movie’s story, the primary characters go on a tenting journey sooner or later within the fall, and that night time they recall a legend: that when each 5 years, on the night time of a giant and blue full moon, magical creatures will go to the city. The characters search for, solely to see a big and blue moon overhead.
