Animax Asia Airs My Senpai is Annoying Anime

Animax Asia started streaming a business on Friday that introduced that it’ll air a simulcast of the tv anime of Shiro Manta‘s My Senpai Is Annoying (Senpai ga Uzai Kōhai no Hanashi) manga. Animax Asia premiered the anime on Sunday, October 10 at 8:30 p.m. GMT +8.

The anime premiered in Japan on Saturday.

Seven Seas is publishing the full-color manga in North America, and it describes the story:

Igarashi is a hardworking younger workplace woman. Takeda, the senpai above her at work, annoys her constantly–and but she finds herself rising nearer to him. On daily basis is crammed with comedian mishaps and romantic moments as Igarashi tries to steadiness work, life, and love. This full-color manga–which began its life as a webcomic–is certain to allure audiences of office comedies like Aggretsuko and The Workplace!

Ryota Itoh (episode director for Sing “Yesterday” for Me, Ping Pong, Aikatsu Stars!) is directing the anime at Doga Kobo (Sing “Yesterday” for Me, Diary of Our Days on the Breakwater). Yoshimi Narita (Beet the Vandel Buster, I★CHU: Midway Via The Idol) is overseeing the collection scripts, Shigemitsu Abe (Killing Bites) is the character designer, Takeshi Takadera (Yowamushi Pedal, RIN-NE) is the sound director, and Hiroaki Tsutsumi (Dr. Stone, Kids of the Whales) is composing the music.
