Hong Kong content material distributor MediaLink Leisure Restricted‘s Ani-One YouTube channel introduced on Fb on Monday that it’s going to stream the tv anime adaptation of creator Kanata Yanagino and illustrator Kususaga Rin‘s The Faraway Paladin (Saihate no Paladin) gentle novel collection on October 9 at 6:30 p.m. IST.

Alongside India and Hong Kong, Ani-One will stream all of the anime in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Fiji, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, New Caledonia, the Northern Mariana Islands, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, the Marshall Islands, Mauritius, Micronesia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nauru, Nepal, Pakistan, Palau, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Samoa, Singapore, the Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Timor-Leste, Tonga, Thailand, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, and Vietnam.

Ani-One describes the anime:

Three undead and a human youngster raised by them. After figuring out the key pasts of the undead and his personal story, the human boy has determined to start his path to grow to be a Paladin.

The anime will premiere in Japan on October 9.

Yuu Nobuta (Excessive College Fleet, World’s Finish Harem, Maesetsu! Opening Act) is directing the anime at Kids’s Playground Leisure. Tatsuya Takahashi (Clever Man’s Grandchild, World’s Finish Harem, Eromanga Sensei) is overseeing the collection scripts, and Koji Haneda (Scar-red Rider XechS, Preliminary D Legend trilogy) is designing the characters. Ryuuichi Takada and Keigo Hoashi from MONACA are composing the music.

H-el-ical// is performing the opening theme tune “The Sacred Torch,” and Nagi Yanagi is performing the ending theme tune “Shirushibi” (Mark of Hearth).

J-Novel Membership is releasing the novels and Mutsumi Okuhashi‘s manga adaptation in English.

Yanagino launched gentle novel collection with illustrations by Rin in March 2016, and Overlap Bunko publishes the novels in print in Japan.
