Grownup Swim introduced on Wednesday that it has greenlit two new anime sequence: Rick and Morty: The Anime and Ninja Kamui. Each sequence will premiere on Grownup Swim and HBO Max.

Takashi Sano (Tower of God) will direct the ten-episode Rick and Morty: The Anime sequence at Telecom Animation Movie (Lupin III, Shenmue the Animation). He beforehand directed the “Rick and Morty vs. Genocider” and “Summer season Meets God (Rick Meets Evil)” animated shorts. The anime might be an authentic work, with tailored themes and occasions from the primary Rick and Morty animated sequence.
